Due to Launceston being known as the Gateway to Cornwall and an ancient capital town from Celtic times, it seemed apt to name the development ‘Kernow Gate’.
Dating back to the 11th century the castle dominates the town and parts of the old wall still remain with Southgate Arch being a prime example.
Launceston is steeped in history just waiting to be discovered. Being a rural town, the beautiful Cornish countryside is only a stone’s throw away and begs to be explored.

Kernow Gate is very accessible to the A30, thus making commuting easier to Truro, Exeter and Plymouth. All the above factors help contribute to making Kernow Gate the ideal place to live.
