About Sidford
This picturesque village enjoys an attractive rural location yet is situated within easy reach of the M5 and the A303, making it an ideal place from which to visit many of the attractions Devon has to offer. It is approximately 18 miles from Exeter and 8 miles from Honiton, and is well served by Exeter International Airport. There are plenty of opportunities to enjoy the surrounding countryside either on foot or bicycle, and Sidford is ideally placed for visiting many of the beautiful Devonshire seaside towns such as Sidmouth, Budleigh Salterton and Beer.
This popular village boasts a small supermarket as well as other amenities including pubs, a post office and a fish and chip shop. There are many interesting buildings in the village which is also well-known for its well preserved Norman Pack Horse Bridge, attracting artists and photographers. The famous Donkey Sanctuary is situated in nearby Salcombe Regis, an unmisable attraction, along with the Beer Quarry Caves.

SIDMOUTH
The charming regency town of Sidmouth is only half a mile away, situated on the world heritage Jurassic Coast in East Devon. Sidmouth lies between Budleigh Salterton and Lyme Regis and is surrounded by red sandstone cliffs and the green hills of the Sid Valley. Home to the International Folk Festival and the Manor Pavillion Theatre, Sidmouth also boasts excellent shopping facilities, pubs and restaurants as well as a range of schools including Sidmouth College. The nearest railway stations are at Exeter and Honiton where frequent bus services run from both.
